Outdoor Shelters and Canopies
Situated in Holland, MI, just east of great Lake Michigan, Portacorp Corp., which William Porter established in 1964, has been manufacturing fabric awnings and canopies since 1976. The corporation, which employs more than 90 people at its Holland facility, is very renowned for its Polygon® brand shelters and tubular steel frames and metal, pine or structural insulated panels that form roof decks.

Outdoor Pop Up Canopies
Pop-up canopies are shelters that collapse down to a size that is portable. Most pop-up canopies come in two pieces – the frame and the top. The tops for most canopies are made from an Oxford polyester blend of fabric. Pop-up canopies have become very popular for outdoor events and trade shows. A Colorado resident named John Lynch invented the pop up canopy around 1984.

The Panther Creek brand soft-top canopy has a top made of extra heavy-duty fabric, 2-tone color cocoa exterior and cream interior. Frame is 1-3/8” heavy-duty galvanized steel, and includes “no blowaway” anchoring pads to securely fasten canopy. This canopy gives all-weather, 100% UV protection.
